The Voluntary nervous system is controlled by our will. It receives its influence from the objective part of the brain, It gives action to such parts as the neck in turning the head about. and to the movement of the arms and lower limbs. There are many muscles in our body which are controlled by the will The winking of the eye, opening and closing of our mouth, the movement of our tongue, the voluntary muscles in the anus and the muscles of the bladder are normally subject to our will. The motor Nerves begin in the center of the head close to the top of the spine (pons) and extend down the spinal cord.
