Yes we had a great time, it was very special to have this time together. It is always a learning experience to be with mother and Tom. This time even more so. I found out how ignorant one can be even though we consider ourselves "educated" and spiritual :-) I realized I need to read more. I also realized how precious every move is that one can make. On the way home of the ferry I cherished every step I could make.. I walked on the deck back and forth.. upstairs and downstairs.. gorgeous sky... mountain in the background.. pink colors... then As I drove home along the side of the freeway on the west was the moon crescent shaped.. and the star closest-- I think Venus showed against a fading sky ( blue, pink and darker blue yet ) how glorious can it get...  btw you can save the pictures on to your hard drive,, and copy them to a cd and delete them from your email account and hard drive.   Anyways:-) it is precious to be able to have this time together.. wishing you all could.

Birgit was here this weekend and although we didn't know it at the time we sure enjoyed celebrating your birthday Jürgen. It finally dawned on Birgit what day it was while she was driving home on the freeway tonight so, bless her loving heart, she called to let us all know. Mother and I did try to call you tonight but alas you were busy celebrating...  

Yesterday we watched the sunset at County Park along the ocean. It was a special time. Mother befriended a young couple and received chocolate pieces in return for her smiles. Birgit may end up playing at their wedding and I may end up exchanging book titles with them.
